Triple Chocolate Brownies

A well-tried and tested recipe that people of all ages seem to love. It contains three types of chocolate - plain melted chocolate, cocoa and white chocolate chips! You can replace the nuts with milk or plain chocolate chips if you want a really intense chocolate hit!

Triple Chocolate Brownies

Serves 24

Ingredients

115g full-fat soft cheese

115g plain chocolate, melted

225g soft brown sugar

115g soft margarine

115g self raising flour

1 tbsp cocoa, sifted

½ tsp vanilla extract

3 large eggs, beaten

115g walnuts, chopped

115g white chocolate chips

Preparation Time 15 minutes. Cooking Time 25 minutes

Method

1. Line an AGA half size roasting tin or an AGA half size shallow baking tray (23x34cm) with Bake-O-Glide or baking parchment.

2. Place the soft cheese, chocolate, sugar, margarine, flour, cocoa, vanilla extract, eggs, walnuts and chocolate chips into a large bowl or stand mixer. Mix well until evenly combined.

3. Spoon the mixture into the tin and spread evenly with a palette knife.

4. Place in the oven

CAST IRON OVEN: hang the tin from the third set of runners in the baking oven or oven on B4.

FAN OVEN: preheat to B4/160°C/325°F

Bake for about 25 minutes until risen and springy to the touch.

5. Cool on a wire rack and cut into 24 squares.
