Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

This delicious starter requires only three ingredients, making it quick and easy to prepare. It's perfect for those who are short on time but still want to impress their guests. Additionally, it can be prepared in advance, allowing you to focus on other aspects of your meal or event. We recommend serving with a hollandaise sauce. Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

Serves 2

6 slices prosciutto

125g asparagus tips, trimmed

1 tbsp olive oil
 

Preparation Time: 10 minutes. Cooking Time: 5 minutes. 

1. Lay a prosciutto slice on a board, then lay an asparagus tip at one end, on a slight angle.

2. Roll the prosciutto around the asparagus covering the entire length of the spear but allowing the ends to poke out.

3. Repeat with remaining prosciutto and asparagus.

4. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or frying pan on the simmering plate, hotplate on simmering setting or induction on medium.

5. Add the asparagus and cook until prosciutto is crisp and asparagus is tender, about 2-3 minutes.

6. Serve immediately. This is delicious with hollandaise sauce.
