The AGA eR3 Series cooker offers an iconic AGA hotplate which can be set to either boiling or simmering mode. Simmering is the cooler of the two temperatures and is used for recipes which need a low temperature such as sauces, scrambling eggs and sautéing. You can also griddle directly on the hotplate when in simmering setting.
