The AGA range has recently expanded to take in the 3 Series collection. Models in the collection are designed for 21st century everyday life, so give you everything you’d expect from a traditional AGA, but with built-in flexibility.
Every AGA cast-iron cooker puts useful heat into the room, meaning you get that lovely, cosy AGA warmth. Now, though, with newer models – including those in the 3 Series range – the hotplates are designed to be on only when you’re using them and ovens can be switched off when you don’t need the warmth, for example overnight, on the hottest of summer days or when you’re away from home.
AGA 3 Series cookers have two cast-iron ovens – one that can be set to either roasting or baking mode, the other a simmering oven. There is also a warming oven and, on some models, the option of cookware storage. Available in 100cm and 90cm models, the latter comes with a useful tall warming oven.
Cookers in the collection also boast a host of innovative features, including an AGA hotplate that can be set to either boiling or simmering mode and the option of a state-of-the-art two-zone induction hob or an AGA warming plate.
AGA Radiant heat cooking
AGA food tastes better simply because an AGA cooks better, using gentle, radiant heat to retain the food’s natural goodness and flavour. The heat steadily radiates through the ovens and hotplates, creating dedicated cooking zones at pre-set temperatures for ease, convenience and stress-free use.
Heat is transferred to the cast-iron ovens and released steadily from all the inner surfaces simultaneously. This unique cast-iron radiant heat cooking is an altogether gentler process than the fierce hot air of other cookers and is the reason AGA cooking preserves more of the food’s moisture, flavour, texture and goodness.
Ultimately flexible, AGA 3 Series cookers make light work of everything from a weekday pizza to a a roast lunch.
