Grilled Halloumi Cheese With Chilli Sauce

A quick and tasty appetiser to serve for a Christmas celebration party. Accompany with a good chilli sauce and garnish with watercress.

Grilled Halloumi Cheese With Chilli Sauce

Ingredients

2 Halloumi cheeses

Chilli sauce to serve

Garnish: Watercress

1 circle of Bake-O-Glide™ to fit the AGA simmering plate.

Makes 16 slices.

Method

1. Cut each Halloumi cheese into 8 slices.

2. Place the Bake-O-Glide™ onto the simmering plate and put the cheese slices onto it – you may want to do this in two batches.

3. Grill until the cheese has browned then turn over and grill the other side, total time about 4-6 minutes. 

4. Arrange on a serving plate, drizzle over the chilli sauce and garnish with watercress
