World in One City project sees AGA and Divertimenti get a real taste of London's international cuisine
Ravioli in Richmond, Falafel in Finchley, Bombay in Bayswater, Mexican in Marylebone - all prepared on the AGA cooker.
Every country has its own dishes, recipes and cooking techniques and food around the world often tells the story of a land, its places and its people.
Now AGA and Divertimenti - the London cookware emporium - have joined forces to launch the World in One City project, which aims to highlight the wide variety of world food available in the capital and the versatility of the AGA cooker in preparing these dishes.
AGA Rangemaster brand Ambassador and World award winning cookery writer James McIntosh will be armed with a guide to London and a map of the world on his quest to discover the capital's finest international cuisine.
James will then work with local chefs, who will demonstrate how their dish is prepared, before he returns to the cookery theatre at the Divertimenti shop in Marylebone High Street in London's West End to prepare each dish on an AGA cooker.
The project is part of the celebration of 50 years of Divertimenti, which also has a shop in Brompton Road. Divertimenti stocks a wide range of cookware from across the globe and is the official AGA retailer for London.
