Providing a helping hand at Christmas
The AGA shop in Knutsford is helping kids with a lot on their plate by raising funds for the children's charity The Place2Be.
As part of a week of fund-raising events for the children's charity The Place2Be, the AGA shop in Knutsford is staging a special Christmas cookery class.
The event - entitled Get ahead at Christmas - will take place at the AGA shop in
Knutsford on November 15th from 5-7pm. Taking the class will be experienced
demonstrator Phyl Lomas. The cookery class will include lots of handy short cuts, interesting twists on Christmas cooking and how to get the most from an AGA over the festive period. Plus, participants will also get to taste all the delicious food cooked on the day.
Tickets are priced at £25, with all proceeds going to The Place2Be, which works inside schools to provide emotional support for children with troubles. By giving them the chance to explore their problems through talking, creative work and play, the charity enables them to cope now and make better-informed decisions about their lives.
