Opening of new AGA shop in Aberdeen will be marked with fund-raising event for local children’s hospices
The new AGA shop in Aberdeen is to be formally opened on April 24th, with a child from one of the city’s children’s hospices performing the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) is the shop’s chosen charity for 2014, with fund-raising events to be held both on the day and throughout the year. This month’s grand opening – from 10am until 5pm – will see AGA Food Editor Dawn Roads cooking a variety of delicious dishes and local producers and craftsmen holding mini-workshops to showcase their work.
At 90 m2, the new Aberdeen shop – at Unit 2, 12b Back Wynd, Aberdeen AB10 1JN – is a onestop destination for all things AGA, with traditional models on display alongside the very latest new-generation electric models, including the programmable AGA iTotal Control cooker. Upstairs houses the new AGA Dual Control, two Rayburn models and the latest AGA refrigeration and features a live demonstration area within one of the two kitchens by Lethenty Cabinetmakers.
PLUS, the grand opening will be marked with discounts of up to 20% on almost everything in the AGA Cookshop cookware collection and tempting discounts on a range of cooker and refrigeration models.
