AGA unveils brand new colour AQUA
AGA is thrilled to announce a new addition to its colour palette. Aqua has been added to the collection, bringing the total number of shades available up to 13.
Aqua offers a fresh, modern take on a pastel shade and is an incredibly versatile colour when it comes to working with cabinetry, tiles and paint.
The AGA cooker's multiple protective coats of gleaming vitreous enamel take three days to apply. It's this process that helps ensure that the AGA cooker's good looks last not for years, but for decades.
The process of adding a colour is a painstaking one; the enamel needs to last a lifetime and, if a part of the AGA is accidentally damaged in decades to come, AGA needs to ensure a perfect match should the owner require a part to be replaced.
The new colour is perfect for both contemporary and traditional kitchens and is available on all AGA models, including the AGA Total Control and AGA iTotal Control.
Notes to Editors The first Aqua AGA cooker has been fitted in Spring Cottage (below) on the Cliveden Estate. The cottage, which in 1963 was at the heart of the Profumo scandal, has had a stunning makeover by designer Martin Hulbert who chose the Aqua AGA cooker. The space is the perfect marriage of modernity and history, with pared-down cabinetry, the AGA Total Control itself and mirrored detailing sitting perfectly with the listed floor and stunning leaded windows.
