The NEW AGA City60 creative campaign - Up and down the City Road, in and out the Eagle
The new AGA City60 Urban Regeneration-themed advertising campaign echoes the nursery rhyme, Pop Goes the Weasel.
It uses a shot from the 26th floor of The Eagle, a new residential development from Mount Anvil, Central London's specialist residential property developer, located on the City Road between The Eagle pub and ‘Silicon Roundabout'.
The AGA City60 arrived early as these floors were still bare concrete and it had to be hoisted up, as no lift had yet been installed.
Still, the view over the City – shot by leading cityscape and advertising photographer Andy Glass – was stunning.
William McGrath, chief executive of AGA Rangemaster said: “The campaign is designed to show the AGA at home in the City. The objective is to attract new audiences by showing that, wherever they live and whatever their cookery style, the AGA can fit in perfectly. With a new generation of programmable models and a fast-growing fan base in London we plan to take the campaign to cities worldwide.”
Andy Glass said: “I relished working with AGA and MNDB on creating this image. As a client, AGA gave us a fantastic opportunity and together we have created an iconic image that shows the AGA City60 at its best and with an amazing skyline to enhance the urban message of the ad.”
The campaign, launched on Friday 22nd August, supports the AGA shop which opened in Spital Square last month and will run nationally from September.
